The Postgraduate Program in Nursing - PPGEnf - has Master's and Doctoral courses in Health Sciences. Its Area of Concentration is CARE AND WORK IN HEALTH AND NURSING, and it is rated with a score of 5 by CAPES.

PPGEnf was approved by CAPES on July 26th, 2007. The Master's degree course was created on September 5th, 2007 and the Doctorate course in March 2015.

The program, which is multi-professional in nature, aims to prepare professionals in nursing and health fields to conduct research and engage in teaching activities. It focuses on generating new knowledge through the scientific method and contributing to the improvement of health care quality.

Graduates of the master's and doctorate programs are expected to conduct scientific research with methodological rigor, grounded in a critical perspective of reality and ethical principles.
